I am so stoked and grateful to have the opportunity to learn from women who’ve walked this path before me, grow alongside fellow female directors, and hone my craft! In a vocation that can at times feel isolating, this is a breath of fresh air for me.

Oprah has been telling the story of Otis Moss Sr. since the late 1980s. She always says that when she votes she casts her ballot in honor of him. She was thrilled to premiere the film version of this story and interview our executive producer, Rev. Moss III on Facebook Watch as part of her SuperSoul Sunday programming just a few days before the 2020 election to encourage people to vote.
With over 470,000 views and nearly 9,000 comments, the film and interview have inspired many to #VoteTheDream.
